Establish in Stiens

Just a quarter of an hour north of the city centre of Leeuwarden sits Stiens. Aside from the large proportion of the 7,000 residents that work in Leeuwarden, the village is home to around 3000 businesses across a number of sectors. So, why is Stiens so attractive to businesses?

The incredibly good accessibility that Stiens enjoys is, naturally, a big factor. It lies next to the N357, meaning that you can zoom to Leeuwarden in incredible time, or continue on to the Randstad, the port of Harlingen, or the city of Groningen. Stiens acts as a sort of centre for North-Friesland, where as many businesses and institutions as people want to make use of the pretty village.

Attractive and accessible - Space

For businesses that don't want to be located in the village's centre, Stiens has De Middelsee- an outstanding and very well-located business park. In total, there is around 20 hectares of space to use, and current tenants include Praxis, Haan Reclame, Parkethuis Stiens, and much more. Aside from this, Stiens is home to Holstein International: a trade magazine for breeders of the Holstein cow, which is translated into five languages.

Stiens, then, is a seriously well-connected place to establish your business. The handy location with outstanding access for cars, public transport, and freight is supported by the close-knit community of entrepreneurs. And, lest we forget, all of this is located in the lush Frisian landscape. Stiens has everything- so when are you coming to take a look?
